A deep ambient sound mixer for Windows
Rain, wind, fire, crowd noise, drones — layer your own sounds into a custom ambience for sleep, focus, or building a soundscape.

Noctívago is inspired by the Linux app Blanket — Windows had nothing quite like it, so this exists — but it grew well past a simple loop-and-mix tool. Every sound you add can be trimmed, filtered, EQ'd, and shaped individually, sounds can play as a loop, a randomized "creak in the woods" one-shot, or on a clock schedule, and a finished mix can be exported to a single audio or video file.
What's in it
The Mixer
Add your own audio files, tag and group them, build a mix, save it as a preset, play it all with one button.
Remix — per-sound editor
Trim, highpass/lowpass/gain, a 7-band parametric EQ, echo, real reverb, a noise gate and noise reduction, a Doppler pass-by effect, speed/pitch/reverse, and slow random "Fluctuation" drift — with live preview.
Three ways a sound plays
Loop it, replay it at randomized gaps with randomized pitch ("Random Interval"), or fire it at real clock times ("Scheduled") — an hourly chime, a bird call every few minutes.
Sound Groups
Route a subset of your sounds through their own shared EQ/reverb bus — e.g. everything "outside" gets muffled and roomier than what's "inside."
Export
Bake a whole mix down to one audio file, or a video (waveform/spectrum visualization, a looped image, or your own background clip) — ready to upload elsewhere.
Sleep timer
Stop everything, turn off just your displays and keep the sound going, put the computer to sleep, or shut it down — on a timer or at a set time.
